A few weeks later, the man walked up to the airport with everything that he owned, just his dog and a suitcase of clothes. When he walked up to the front desk to get his ticket, the lady working asked him about his dog. He told her his story, about how rare of a breed it was, and how he sold everything he had to take it to a worldwide dog show to win 30 million dollars. The woman working the counter was touched, but still had to do her job, and sadly told the man that he was not allowed to take animals on the airplane because of safety issues. The man was in shock! He had already come so far and there was no turning back for him. So he did what he had to do. He walked over to a small hallway, dumped the clothes out of his bag, and carefully put his dog inside. He was determined to make it to the show.
The man walked back to the counter, told the lady he left his dog behind, and boarded the airplane. He of course kept his bag as a carry-on, just to watch over his dog's safety. Everything was going fine for the first few hours of the flight, until his dog decide to start barking. Everyone on the plane could hear the dog's muffled "woof, woof", and the stewardess walked over to the man to ask about it. He of course told her that it was him who made the sound, coughing, and that he had a cold. She shrugged and walked away, until the dog barked again. This time the stewardess caught on to the man, and asked him straight out if he had a dog stuffed in his carry-on bag. Reluctantly the man answered honestly, telling her his tale, and how he had no choice but to bring his rare and valuable dog onto the flight with him. She reminded him that passengers were not allowed to bring animals onto the flight, but since she felt sorry for him, she told him that she would take care of the poor dog if he would had it over to her.
The man had no choice, and nervously gave the woman his dog. She comforted him again, and walked into the back carrying his dog. Another few hours had passed by on the flight, and the man grew more and more anxious. He even tried to get some sleep, but he was so worried about his puppy that he had to find out if it was okay. He asked the stewardess as she walked by if he could check up on his dog, but she said that there was nothing to worry about, that she had it taken care of and to just relax. Relieved, the man slouched back, and looked out the window breathing a sigh of relief for about half a second.
It was at that moment he noticed his rare thirty million dollar dog outside hanging onto the wing of the airplane for its own dear life. He quickly screamed and jumped up, demanding to know what happened. The stewardess told him that since animals were not allowed on the flight, she had no other choice but to throw it out the plane. The dog's desperate owner couldn't believe what was going on. He started to go on about how much the animal was worth to him, and while glancing back out the window, he saw that his dog had disappeared and really started to panic!
"What happened?!" he screamed. Luckily one man sitting a few chairs behind him had been watching the poor dog the whole time. He raised his voice just enough to be heard, telling the owner what had happened.
"The poor thing had been holding on to the plane's wings, knowing its life was in danger," the man said, "when all of a sudden this brick came out of nowhere and hit it."
