A mother was reading a book about animals to her daughter: Pointing to the picture, she asked "What does the cow say?" she asked her daughter. The daughter made a slow arc with her head as she replied, "Mooooooooooo!"

"That's right!" the proud Mom says. "What does the cat say?" "Meoooow!" she replied, rubbing her head against her mom's arm.

"Oh, you're so smart! And what does the frog say?"

The wide-eyed little three-year-old looked up at her mother, made a smushed face, and replied, in slow, croaking sounds, "Buuuud... Wiiiise.... er"
